A quick backstory

For those from Ophelie’s side who don’t know me well, here is a quick backstory. I, Louis, was born in Guadeloupe (on a French Caribbean island). I have spent my childhood in Marseille (south of France) in the suburb of . My teenage-hood took place at Etang-Salé (literally translated as Salty-Pond), near the Bassin Pirogue (literally translated as Canoe Dock) in Reunion Island. I met Ophélie in high school and it made sparks fly (I need to precise that it was not the lovey-dovey ones but quite the opposite)! After half a year of university in Reunion Island, I went to Australia to study and I got Ophélie to follow me there. Success is where we live now.

2019 – The dog

I grew up with dogs since I was little (Hugo – a border collie). Being in Australia, I could not own a pet at all. Though, one day, I took the chance and looked for one (with Ophelie’s consent).
Ein was the second pet we adopted as the first one did not work out well. He is a cross between a corgi (his mom) and a rough collie (his dad). He was the one who picked Ophélie and we decided to adopt him. He recognized us when we came back to pick him up a few weeks later. He is very protective and a very worried dog. He is not a fan of kids. Despite all his flaws, he is fun to have around and his a chonky bundle of joy!

Molly

She is the lady of the house and we adopted her in September 2023. She is the senior of the pack (9 years old) and not a very big fan of Tama. Though, she loves cuddles with humans and will spend literally hours on Louis’ laps to be pet.
